All individuals (referred to herein as Client(s) in any way using services directly or indirectly provided by any facet of the corporate entity Private Islands Inc. (referred to herein as PII) are bound by our Terms and Conditions of Service (Terms). Alterations of said Terms are effective immediately upon publication on www.privateislandsinc.com.
Reproduction of any part of; websites, physical materials, intellectual property or other possessions owned by PII is prohibited without expressed permission.
PII is not a real estate broker and is not registered as such. Brokerage services facilitated by PII are provided by third parties reasonably understood to be qualified; however, PII does not make any explicit or implicit guarantees regarding service provided by third parties. PII assumes no direct or indirect liability or responsibility for any and all referrals made to third parties by PII.
Clients submitting properties to PII, including but not limited to Private Islands Online (PIO) and The Virtual Island Broker (VIB), are understood to fully responsible for the accuracy of the information Client provides. Client assumes full responsibility for updating PII as this information changes or is discovered to be inaccurate. It is the full responsibility of Client to review the finished listing on PIO and inform PII of any inaccuracies, typographical errors, misprints or omissions, and PII assumes no responsibility in the event that these occur. Client acknowledges that as a matter of policy PII will not agree to publicize any Client contact details or links to external websites for islands submitted to PII, excluding island websites built by PII.
PII reserves the discretionary right to refuse or terminate its services for any reason. Should the situation arise that PII receives information or correspondence to the effect that a property submitted by Client has been intentionally or unintentionally misrepresented, has been submitted without the proper authorization, or any other circumstance exists that PII decides is cause for concern, PII reserves the right to temporarily or permanently cease publicly or privately marketing said property. PII does so solely to preserve the integrity of our services and by taking such actions no implication is made of responsibility or liability for any conflicts arising between Clients and third parties.
Barring an explicit written agreement between Client and PII to the contrary, Client agrees that all information provided to PII and intended for publication may be freely used by PII in marketing efforts. Client agrees that PII or one of its possessions will be named as the source for any and all such information used in the marketing efforts of PII, including but not limited to during participation in media publications.
PII does not guarantee that our websites or services will be available or fully accessible 100% of the time. Downtime may occur due to routine maintenance, updating, problems arising from third parties including but not limited to hosting companies, or any other issues that may occur. However, every reasonable effort will be made on our part to prevent or mitigate the impact of impaired website access or service interruptions.
No responsibility or liability is assumed by PII in the event that Client follows any offsite links present on any domains owned by PII. Client acknowledges that PII is not responsible or liable for any for any contracts entered into, purchases made or any other situation that may arise on a website linked from a domain owned by PII.
